Those Traveling on Orders Ride For Free; All Soldiers Are Served Free Coffee

PHOENIX, ARIZONA: SuperShuttle, the nation’s largest shared ride service to and from 33 airports, is extending its program for soldiers at Ft. Campbell, KY, with complimentary coffee for all soldiers in Nashville International Airport’s military lounge. The program with Ft. Campbell, launched in the fall of 2009, allows soldiers traveling on orders to ride for free to and from the Nashville International Airport. SuperShuttle also introduced “Operation Safe Ride,” a shuttle service to and from downtown Nashville.

SuperShuttle runs frequent transfers to and from Ft. Campbell to Nashville International Airport daily, offering the most round-trip shuttles in the area with minimum wait times at the airport. “We’re happy to be able to provide this convenient service to the men and women of the military who serve our country proudly. We want to say thank you by providing complimentary coffee in Nashville International’s military lounge as an added perk,” said Ken Testani, senior vice president of global marketing for SuperShuttle. Soldiers traveling on orders ride for free. Availability is limited based on the type of travel orders. If not traveling on orders, the fare to the airport from Ft. Campbell is $55 one way and $108 round trip.

“Operation Safe Ride” is for soldiers traveling to downtown Nashville for a night on the town. Rates are $70 each way and reservations must be made in advance. “By leaving the driving to SuperShuttle, Operation Safe Ride” gives soldiers a well-deserved way to spend a relaxing and safe night out,” said Testani.
